Rumor: Samsung to Launch GALAXY S IV in Late March, Availability in April

Rumors on the GALAXY S IV are picking up rapidly over the past few days, with the latest reports indicating that the phone will be launched in March.
According to Korean news outlet Asian Economies, "telecommunications industry sources" claim that the GALAXY S IV will be launched at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in the U.S on March 22, 2013. If the report turns out to be true, it will be the first Unpacked event in the U.S since the debut of the GALAXY S in 2010.
Quoting information from its insider sources, SamMobile followed up with its own report that the GALAXY S IV will hit retail shelves in April. Previously, SamMobile asserted that the project codename for the GALAXY S IV was "Project J". However, Samsung has since changed the codename to "Altius (J)".
SamMobile's sources also state that the GALAXY S IV will come in two colors: black and white, and shipping of the device will begin on Week 16 (April 15). The upcoming flagship device is reported to be equipped with wireless charging capability. A separate dock and a back cover with wireless charging capabilities will be made available weeks after the GALAXY S IV goes on sale.
The site also confirms that the GALAXY S IV will have a removable 2600mAh battery. The GALAXY S III has a 2100mAh battery while the GALAXY Note II sports a massive 3100mAh battery. The GALAXY S IV is also rumored to come with S-Pen functionality, a slightly thicker chassis (9.2mm) and a 4.99-inch 1080p display.
Samsung's mobile division head JK Shin has also officially confirmed that the S IV will not be announced at MWC 2013 in February. The Korean company launched the GALAXY S III at a Mobile Unpacked event held in London last May.
